Thanks for the update ping. Looks like Bill is still going to stay clear of me on the east coast of Florida. Hopefully it will stay way out in the Atlantic.
To add insult to injury, Al Roker is doing the narrating. What a worthless POS. NBC has made the weather channel unwatchable.
Ditto...I have to keep the airsick bags handy in case I see an MSNBC commericial while waiting for my 'Local on the 8s'...b-a-r-f.

I understand Ana is now a tropical wave, will be raining on south Florida, then the rain will be swept north by the Bermuda high. Texas is still out of luck for rain.
Thanks for the ping NN!
Thanks for the ping. Looks like we will be able to enjoy my son’s visit!
We had a 1/2” of rain yesterday, so keep pushing them this way!
Thanks NN!
We got needed rain, so for that I am thankful!
Thank you dear one for the updates! They are quite helpful indeed!
You’re a sweetheart for keeping us “in the know”! :-)
Thanks, it was quite surprising. Most were initially happy because we actually had clouds. :)
While I think this will just be surf's up and it'll remain a fish storm, some of the models just came through with a completely different picture.
Some of those western tracks would make for some interesting cable news coverage this weekend...especially if FNC sent Shepard Smith to Boston. :-)
Hurricane Bill is surely a magnificent storm, especially from a distance when he is headed the other direction.
Thanks for the thread, NN! Are some of the models now showing Bill coming closer to the Northeast coast?
One of the sats was retasked to take images about once a minute. This gif (yes the jumps are much more than a minute) is an animation of the eye of Bill - wow, look at those clouds go in the eye!
Well, I hope he steers clear of the US. I live in Upstate NY, and we’ve had plenty of rain. Don’t need any of Bill’s :)
Well, that creeps me out to no end...
I hope much the same, and while those models are possible, they are also very, very unlikely.
