Yeah, I quit using the chemical cleaners after I almost asphyxiated myself spraying cleaner in my small bathroom. I had to go outside for fresh air. I got rid of all of them & have saved a lot of money in the process. I’ve read that vinegar actually has disinfecting properties & baking soda scrubs, but doesn’t scratch. Plus, they are both as cheap as dirt.
Plus, when you put them together, the reaction is kind of a kick with the volcanic eruption you get. just the big kid in me, I guess....
Baking soda is still cheap, but vinegar seems to be going through the roof for some reason.

I’ve been talking to a lot of people lately who are doing this - mostly because of health reasons, but the money saved is an added bonus. I just recently switched to some cleaners made out of essential oils and they do a far better job with less scrubbing than the other stuff I’ve bought for years.
Whenever you do need a little abrasiveness in the kitchen, use kosher salt. When done, just put it down the drain. It also kills bacteria better than any of the "anti-bacterials" out there, unless of course your using a bleach mixture.
