This sort of law, no matter how overwhelming the opposition might be, once it is passed will never be repealed by the Republicans even if they sweep the congressional and presidential elections. Anything the right gets can and will be swept away with the next left majority. The right, being conservative, will not change Tradition, even if that tradition is only 48 hours old. Conservatives, once elected, become Republicans, or more appropriately, Tories, conservative but only of their own prerogatives. It is almost a law of politics for the Right- we work hard and elect our guys and they aren’t our guys anymore.
There are many times more guns on the street these days. It’s time for Republicans to live up their obligations. Just too much risk in NOT repealing and trashing Democrat CRAP.
