August 12) - Frank speaks with Dr. Dave Janda, practicing orthopedic surgeon and a world-recognized expert on prevention, health care cost containment, and health care reform, who offers some insight regarding Obamacare. More info: www.noinjury.com.
Dr. Janda appeared on the Frank Beckman show this morning on WJR AM, Detroit and he explains how the first part of the healthcare bill has been passed in THE STIMULUS PACKAGE! It can be found in SECTION 9201 of the Stimulus bill. It sets up a 15 member Comparataive Effectiveness Board, modeled after the UK's "NICE" board. Obama has appointed the members of this board and one of the members is DR. EZEKIEL IMMANUEL.
Download this podcast from Frank Beckman's interview with Dr. Janda on WJR's website.

The “Stimulus” Act ends with Section 7002. This could be bogus.

Can someone please answer this? Isn’t it possible to repeal part of a law such as this? Sounds like a good campaign ad to me for republican challengers...
This is the basis of the “unemotional” model that will be used by govt healthcare managers to decide who lives and who dies.
A 99 yr old lady with lots of spunk and life .... not as useful to the collective as someone else who needs the bed.
Buh Bye.

Yeah, but who knew that "shovel-ready" meant grave-diggers?

Definately Barry and company have pre-planned for shoving this garbage healthcare down our collective throats.
I seriously smell the Dems using the nuclear option to ramrod legislation.
Wonder what took so long for someone to connect the dots?
No wonder Obama and the dems want to rush everything! All of their legislation is like a terrorist plot to destroy capitalism and freedom!
So what's your next move, America?
To destroy the human person, the individual, is more to the point.
I listened to this broadcast, then did a search.
I think this article from the NYT is talking about this very thing.. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/16/health/policy/16health.html?_r=1
You’re right about that section being too high. I may have jotted the number down wrong. I am currently listening to Dr. Janda on a telephone townhall with my congressman, Thad McCotter and when the doctor mentioned it, and I scrambled for a pen to write with, so I may have gotten the number wrong. I’ll listen to the pod cast and go to Dr. Janda’s website for further clarification.

I remember hearing something about this at the time.
Hate to say it but he’s right...look at Title IX of the Appropriations portion of the bill.

I think we’ve been hoodwinked...no wonder he was pushing to enact healthcare before the recess. He was probably counting on no one reading the healthcare bill like they didn’t read the stilulus bill.
