He said private insurers won’t be run under by gov’t healthcare as long as the government is not subsidized by taxpayers. Huh? What a moron!

Stammering and stuttering. It must be unpleasant not having your teleprompter and your wireless earbud isn’t working.

Was he not required to take at least econ 101 to get out of Harvard? How can such a bright man be so ignorant of basic economics? How could America have voted in this maroon?

President Obama at his Tuesday town hall: "UPS and FedEx are doing just fine. It's the Post Office that's always having problems."So the UPS and FedEx are private corporations. And they are doing fine. The Post Office is run by the government, and its "always having problems...."

Doesn’t Medicare have something like $36 trillion in unfunded liabilities? How could a private company get away with that?
If there is a public option the private insurers won’t go out of business immediately but certainly within a very few years.

President Reagan: “Put the government in charge of something, and watch it fall apart.”
Now, this is fairly simple thinking, yet exceedingly unconventional in today’s America.
Anyone want to tell me what the government does well?

Wow. What a dummy. Er, ah, uh...if ah...er...well, you know...
His handlers must cringe when he steps away from the microphone.
OTOH, this apparently was a friendly crowd, hand packed for him.

Go to your post office and just watch what goes on. They walk around oblivious to the waiting public at a pace reminiscent of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, i.e. zombies. Many (not all though) are rude, impatient and even sarcastic to the public.

One would think this might give him a clue about the efficiencies of business run by the government Vs. those run by private industry and guided by market forces.
But nooo. He wants to run everything. Not because he wants them run well but because:

The government enacts, enforces and interprets the rules of competition for the private sector. How could the private sector possibly compete with the government?

Oh this is good. Trying to make a point that Obamacare is not a threat to private insurance, he makes the more important point that private business is better run than the federal government.
