Dr. William Campbell Douglass, who abhors vegetarianism, but recommends coffee, cigars, not exercising, drinking hydrogen peroxide, and eating high fat diets to ward off cancer. Seriously. I did not make this up.
Dr. Russell Blaylock, ex-neurosurgeon, now nutritionist. Not a typical career path.
None of these individuals have any specialist training in epidemiology, microbiology, or virology, and their opinions rate somewhere between “unlearned” and “fruitcake”. They also have a vested interest in selling their various homeopathic products to the gullible public.
In short, they have no credibility in the subject, individually or collectively.
All truth goes through three steps: First it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.
Evidently you are in the second step.
Have your read any of their books? Are you an MD? Do you have any specialist training in epidemiology, microbiology, or virology? Although not accepted by mainstream medicine there is a lot a valid research behind their points. Do you only have expertise in the one thing you went to college for or do for a living or do you have other areas of expertise and knowledge? Maybe these doctors do too. Writing someone off because of their career path is a little ludicrous. Some of what Dr. Douglass says is hype of the outrageous style that Ann Coulter uses in politics to get attention, doesn’t mean all of his advise is bad. As far as fat goes you should check out Price Pottinger Foundation they have a lot of good info on it. You obviously have a real invested need to believe what you believe and write off all other opinions as crackpot. That is OK with me. I’ll stay away from the vaccines and use my crackpot methods of having better health than most of the population and you take your flu vaccines and we’ll see who lives longer.
