Obama will use a potentially boisterous midday town hall-style meeting in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to highlight how his proposals would affect workers whose employers provide their health insurance. Okay, you have just somehow managed to get a ticket to the Obama's Portsmouth town Hall meeting. You have managed to get a set directly in back of all the Obama plants setting in the first ten rows of seats.

Now here is where the real fantasy comes in...you weren't required to write your question down beforehand, and Mr. Obama will spontaneously answer your question, and he has decided to deviate from the prepared list of questioners and call on you.

What would your question be?

I am posting this here because someone who does have a ticket to attend this event at midday in Portsmouth, just might come here to get their questions.

I know what my question will be:

"Mr. Obama, we know many, many people do not have health insurance, and a public option is essential in bringing down the costs of health insurance for all, which is the key to recovering from this great economic depression we are all suffering through at present. Mr. Obama, will you publish your real, long-form birth certificate and allow it to be examined by a panel of forensic document experts as to its authenticity?"

I got this email the other day and wondered if others also got one. It appears to be a parody of the Axelrod/White House letter encouraging the Democrats to get out and support Obamacare.

The clever NEWSPEAK term now being employed by the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Axis of Evil is “Health Insurance REFORM”— and it’s a LIE. The rumors of death counseling provisions, the plan to ration (read that “DENY”) treatment to the elderly within the proposed over 1,000 page Democrat monstrosity of a bill have only increased as more people come to understand that it is ALL TRUE. We knew going into this effort that accomplishing a comprehensive government Health Care Takeover wasn’t going to be easy. Achieving real change never is. The entrenched interests that benefit from stupid and antiquated concepts like patient choice, freedom and the rule of law (the Constitution) use their influence in Washington to try and keep things just as they are.

But don’t be misled. We know the America you knew as a child is no more and it is time to put aside childish things. If we do nothing, millions of older Americans – you know, like those worn out old geezers who landed on or parachuted into Normandy or froze in Korea — will survive what would or should be life ending illnesses and we extra smart folks here in Washington will run out of the funds needed for welfare payments to and health care for those who refuse to work – even if they COULD find work outside government now—and those here illegally. As they vote largely Democrat, we simply couldn’t allow them to go without. As we here in Washington are the only ones with the power to print money, we are the only ones with enough of the stuff to pay for all of this. (Of course, the end-of-life section of the program will cause those costs to shrink as the plan kicks in. The soon-to-be-proposed Soylent Green program will actually provide a revenue stream into the plan. It could become a virtual perpetual motion machine!)

Inflation? Not to worry. Your kids and grandkids can worry about that. (On that topic, when you do decide to pull your own plug, we suggest cremation and scattering as there is a distinct probability that those kids and grandkids would otherwise dig you up and drag your remains around behind one of those “green” cars – if they can find someone with enough dough to buy one.)

That’s the reality.

Americans deserve better. You deserve a health care system that works as well for you as it does for us and the millions of government employees. Well, maybe not THAT good. One that won’t deny you coverage when you need it most (with rationing, there won’t be those disturbing letters denying coverage as you will not be home to get them: You’ll be standing in that line we mentioned earlier or will have died). And there won’t be those crippling out-of-pocket co-pays. I mean, why bother. With the taxes we’ll need to pay for those illegal and welfare Democrats, the pockets of those few of you who survive will be empty anyway. Government Health Care Takeover means the insecurity and instability you deserve. Think of it as chickens – actually buzzards – coming home to roost for voting for us in November.

And speaking of elections, be sure to get out to the polls in 2010 and 12 to vote that straight D ticket. As usual, free busses will be available all election day at all overpasses, welfare housing projects and other sites where illegals/urban outdoorsmen gather. Don’t forget to ask the ACORN folks for that coupon for your pint of wine or 6 pack of Colt 45.

Well, admittedly it’s an ‘amateur’ question, but one that tens of millions can understand readily, and that includes the Congresscritters who these questions would inevitably be addressed to. In fact it’s already been used to great effect: “Would everyone in Congress be willing to sign up to this bill you want to foist upon us?” If your large bank accounts would afford you some choices outside the bill, would you also fatten OUR bank accounts to afford us those same choicess?” And IF NOT, WHY NOT?????”
After all, as it’s still an unpopular thing to remind them of, it’s our tax dollars that pay their huge salaries, and give them luxuries we, their willing slaves, will NEVER be granted ourselves, by THEM. We are just asking to be granted what WE grant THEM.

My question: "Mr. President, given that you claim the health care bill will not increase the deficit 'one penny', yet the non-partisan CBO says unequivocally that it will blow a large hole in that deficit, don't you owe it to the American people to show how the CBO is wrong in their numbers? And if you cannot, shouldn't you start over on the drawing board to determine a new course of action that will ensure consumer choice and not bankrupt the next generation, as the CBO says you will? Also why won't you include tort reform in your bill, to quickly save the American health care system nearly $660 billion annually by removing the threat of unethical tort lawyers like John Edwards?"
