My parents have been AARP members since the mid-80s when they were in their mid-50s. My mom told me yesterday that their membership comes up again next month and they’re NOT renewing. I asked why not just terminate their membership and she said for a month, they’ll just let it lapse. They are livid about AARP’s stand on the government healthcare takeover.
