More info from a posting on the WTSP website:
"From what I gather - EXTENDED:
SEIU & Castor (whose contributors are predominantly unions trial lawyers, teamsters etc] organize (pay to play) a townhall and announce it at the last minute as to reduce opposition voices.
Never the less, the word gets out at the last minute to citizen-led, unfunded grassroots organizations like 9-12 meetup group. Citizens opposed to government-run healthcare gather at the last minute to have their voices heard.
Exactly what Castor and SEIU did not want.
Inside, the townhall seated are mostly union members/supporters/people - yet seats remain empty. Hundreds of citizens outside. And yet public is not allowed in.
Castor makes speech turns it over to panel. Soon leaves.
People were prevented access inside to the meeting. Because of this apparent denial of free speech and bias -- and the seemingly blatant sham of a 'townhall' -- many began to shout, some banged windows & doors.
This is what I am surmising / what I am gathering from updates via Twitter.
Arrive earlier than the other side - We need to stack our folk's in front to create a wall around the Member and we need to stake out the best spots for visibility and signs.
Page 3 We should demonstrate that we are the majority by chanting: When the other side gets too loud, we should shut them down with chants that county their message like “Health Care Can't Wait!”...
Page 4 - Choose a venue that is difficult for the opposition to access without being noticed - Get to your location early and make sure you est up the venue in a way that ensures that the attendees you want are at the front and that any protesters who come are sequestered as far as possible from the stage. Make sure you have signs and visuals up...
Plan for disturbances and assign marshals ...act as security should any need arise to ask noisy or disruptive protesters to leave. If you have cause to think you will need more back up, notify the police..
It's a pro-death bill photo op. There was no town meeting.
..........Civil War 2 has begun.
Could have been strong protesters and angry supporters clashing. This is biased reporting.
Dems came up with a new way to lie - a townhall by invitation. Can't wait to see how it's played tomorrow...
We need some first-hand reports.

233 years, 4 months into our American Freedom.
And so it begins.
Bring it socialists. Bring it.
(I posted this on a couple of other threads, also.)
Here is a screen cap from the video at MyFoxTampaBay. This guy was right up front and his tee-shirt caught my eye. "Union Tough", it reads.
Now, I know it is just an old union slogan, but this guy chose to wear this particular shirt, on this particular night, for a particular reason.
He wanted (or maybe his Union boss wanted) to intimidate people into sitting down and shutting up. Unless, of course, they agreed with the party /union line.
lol. There's something ironic about injuries being incurred at a health care forum.
Petri dishes for a revolution culture.
IF TRUE, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOLKS!!!

I was there...
We showed up at 6 and were told by friends that Representative Castor hosted a private event before the scheduled town hall with 175 SEIU union members who were assigned seats in the front of the hall for the meeting which left space for only @ 75 more people....
and individuals wearing Obama gear were ushered to the front of the line and then the doors were shut.
Free speech and Democracy were reprehensibly railroaded tonight..
If there’s one issue that can put one million pissed off Americans into Downtown DC on a weekend, it’s this one.
I’m happy to see this thread has been restored. It dropped off the radar for awhile.
It’s back!
It’s back!
Nah - THIS one... :)

It begins. The Left proceeds merrily, secure in the highly erroneous assumption that its members have a monopoly on violence. The fellow with the “Union Thug” t-shirt, for example, probably doesn’t think of it as a bull’s-eye. He may want to reconsider that.
