Well, according to post #627, that Kenyan two shilling coin is from 1937, and they had already altered the design by 1957. So good luck with finding one at the airport currency exchange.

Though a quick check of E-Bay shows a variety of Kenyan coinage. Nothing that old at this time. But plenty of shillings from the 60’s.

I wasn't thinking. What with new fangled “internet” gimmick, Kenyan coinage is apparently very easy to obtain.
