Yes and part of this whole thing is the give and take from varying opinions. Yours does vary from mine and I am no expert. Old Alaric was the Germanic conqueror who helped ravage Rome in the Fifth century. I, knowing the sense of humour in that county- Australia, would concede a few jokes about that name. He is referred to as plain old "Al" in the cemetery records.

My money is on David Jeffrey Bomford's Birth Certificate.
