I agree, she had the obligation to do basic verification that the document was not an obvious forgery, if she didn't that will not go well.

The judge just did Orly a big favor by ruling, in effect, that her motion was never filed. That will keep her from being sanctioned for a frivolous motion. Now if she is dumb enough to try to re-file it, she may not be so lucky.

You mean like the way she filed the motion for reconsideration of dismissal of the Cook TRO, asking for an "exception" from the local rules because she was from out of state and didn't know them, and stating that it would be a great inconvenience to have to start over since she was leaving the country for three weeks shortly thereafter?

Or, do you mean like the way she explained that FOIA rules didn't apply to her, explaining in the amended complaint that "The Plaintiffs as a group may not have adhered closely or precisely to the letter of FOIA in all of their approaches to the current administration for information, but this court has assured them that the present case will be decided on its legal merits and factual substance, and not on procedural irregularities." ?

Or, do you mean like the way she asked for a continuance of the hearing in the Liberi case -- on the last page of her affidavit supporting a motion to dismiss the motion that is the subject of the hearing (which is still scheduled for this Friday)?

Or ... ?

It would seem that way, but with the zone so muddy, its hard to tell.

Frankly, we need to get back to the issue of what we know is the problem and let this B.C. thing sort itself out.

And it will one way or another.

I agree with many here, that the Left claiming scam us with a Fraudulent B.C. is going to backfire big time. We do the same do dilligence each time, the Mega thread was not a sycophantic explosion of acceptance. It was a donnybrook of analysis that ended up with a verdict of "Not enough evidence" which is frankly where we still are.

However, lots more evidence has been developed about the larger story that might explain why the President feels the need to allow folks to wave about what is clearly a forgery, and what is only a summary copy of the vital record which he is clearly afraid to allow the public to see.

We need to summarize and hunker down for more fun in the future.
