At some point there will occur a psychological secession, whereby millions of Americans simply begin to ignore the current regime and act independently for the good of their nation and families.

At the appropriate time, Free America will repudiate the liberal fascist debt and assign it to them to be handled, while Free America separates from the liberal fascists and restores legitimate Constitutional government.

It all reminds me of the ancient world of my grandfather, who would point to a used tractor he had purchased (and paid for in cash) and sigh, “That cost me 20 tons of raisins”; or would look at the living-room floor and say with a shrug, “It took an acre of Santa Rosa plums to pay for that rug.”

Looks like Victor Davis Hanson had a wise grandfather - one we owe a debt of gratitude to for bringing us Victor... a man who is wise like his grandfather but chose to share that wisdom with more than a few select grandchildren.

Cash-for-clunkers sounds like a great stimulus. But in terms of debt, we are borrowing a few billions from the Japanese and Chinese so that we can rent-to-own new fuel-efficient cars largely from the Japanese and Koreans.

We think we are stopping global warming by letting the third world countries do our manufacturing for us.

How about a carbon tax on imports from countries that are gross polluters of the environment?
