In looking over the many birth certificates that you’ve been good enough to show, I’ve seen no reference to a book or a page.
It does not appear that Australia uses a system with a book and a page. But the Bomford doc references a book and a page.

More likely it's just because it's South Australian - the only certificates I've been able to find online are from other states - common format (though not identical).
Find a South Australian birth certificate (and I've been trying) and show that it doesn't reference a book or page, and you might well be on to something.
But different states do things somewhat differently - I can't find another SA certificate online anywhere - just NSW, QLD, and Victoria, so far.
