Days before the 2008 election, HBO host Bill Maher expressed his hatred for Sarah Palin: "If there is such a thing as karma, let's hope that Sarah Palin comes back as a wolf being shot from a plane." Maher returned to the wolf-shooting metaphors on Friday night's Real Time as he discussed her farewell address in Alaska – except this time Maher suggested Palin would execute Cherokee Indians. Right-leaning humorist Joe Queenan set off the "joking."
QUEENAN: Are you blaming Sarah Palin for the extermination of the Cherokee tribe?
MAHER: I certainly am.
QUEENAN: Exactly.
MAHER: Not that she did it, but if she was around then, she would have – from a helicopter, like she did the wolves.
Notice how the logic collapses: Palin in a helicopter in the 1800s? That was not the only moment when the Palin mockery seemed a little mangled on the Maher show. This is how the bashing began:

Exactly. Indian Removal was the policy promoted by Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren. Democrats. Started in the late twenties with the rise of Jackson and culminated in the Trail of Tears in the late thirties.
How pathetic....Maher has degenerated down to the intellectual level of a Janeane Garbagiholio.

My husband is a “vegan”and envior-nazi. He detests hunter because they “kill animals” and eat meat. Don’t get me started on what he thinks of Ted Nugent. Whenever he gets on one is is rants I leave the room.

It is Mr. Maher’s Halloween costume. He is supposed to be Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. Steve Irwin died in 2006 after being fatally pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Mr. Maher thought it was funny.

Bill Maher is nothing but walking disorganized amoebic protoplasm with eyes.
Anyway, I remember in high school reading Field & Stream magazine about shooting wolves in Alaska from a Piper Cub rigged with an M-1 Garand rifle on top of the cockpit, firing over the propeller by remote control. Only disadvantage was the 8-round rifle could only be reloaded on the ground.
I have a list, Maher will never be missed. The man is an idiot but I am not saying he should be gone except from the headlines. What he says is just what can be expected, nothing new nothing unexpected. In other words he is one of the ‘usual suspects!’
I’m confused....does this mean that Biden flushes them out (Deleware 7-11’s) and Palin uses her 30.06???
I hope that the bullets that Sarah loads into her 30-06 rifle are dipped in pig grease, as are mine.
That pretty well covers all bases when the balloon goes up.
