Good question. Why did I have to show my whole life for the INS and Coustoms while Hussein didn’t. Eventually I took a job with DHS. Low level - Bared my soul.

Sadly, elected officials don’t require security clearance. When the people elect you they have cleared you for access to classified material.
I hope that at the very least what comes out of this Obama mess is that state requirements by each secretary of state will cause a vetting of each presidential candidate in the future. . . His hidden past was so covered up, most average Americans didn't know about his communist past. Now we have a Manchurian Marxist in the white house after we spent a generation fighting the Cold War. . .

They just hand it to him on a silver platter - no checks, no vetting, no nuthin! (Same with all Presidents)
Having held a Top Secret & Cryptographic clearance when in the service, I can tell you - he would NEVER have passed the first of the 12 continuous pages of disqualifying organizations. Seems every organization he has been associated with is anti-American.
