Have you seen this poster?
Apparently, it's beginning to appear in odd places in Los Angeles, but nobody seems to know who's responsible for it.
Radio host Tammy Bruce posted some pictures of this odd creation at her blog Saturday morning (h/t Pamela Geller) leading me to investigate further.
At this point, all I could find on the subject was an April 25 article from Bedlam Magazine:
A poster of Barack Obama in Heath Ledger-style Joker make-up with the legend 'Socialism' beneath it has been popping up recently on surfaces around L.A. It does not appear to be in the same category as the many benign take-offs on the Shepard Fairey 'Hope' poster, such as the one by Australian James Lillis (more of a straightforward spoof that merely substituted a Shepardized image of Heath Ledger as Joker on the Obama poster).

The SS is not known for being politically biased. KC is correct. It's a mater of numbers.
No matter who the President is, there are probably a million Americans who would shoot him if they felt they could get away with it. If you were a bodyguard who had to worry about that, would you be investigating a poster referencing a character who says in the movie that he cut his own face up? I would be looking for real threats, and so will the SS.

Laurel and Hardy could NEVER be “outdated”. Their humor is timeless. They are funnier than most ‘comedians’ on film today.
I’ll ignore that “hand wringer” comment, there are some people around here that would not have information or where to look into Obamas past if it were not for my efforts, I just don’t go bragging about it as much as others.
And I deliberately want my name out of circulation, I get approached all the time both on the web and here in Wasilla so I quite often just clam up and refuse to back my self up so its possible some people think I’m a troll, heck I would prefer that they do, gets me deeper into their mind.
