Sen. Christopher Dodd of Connecticut announced Friday that he has an early form of prostate cancer.
"I feel fine; I'm going to be fine. We caught this early," he said at a news conference in Hartford with his wife, Jackie Clegg Dodd.

Its tough going from the life of a indulged & pampered mandarin with the keys to the kingdom to a indulged & pampered filthy rich private citizen.
I have difficulty believing anything that comes from Dodd’s mouth - he is a serial liar and it wouldn’t surprise me if this just another push for obamacare.
I’d be a whole lot more impressed if he said he would use the options laid out in the House plan and would take a pill and not seek treatments due to his advanced age,,,ya know...like he wants the REST of us to do.
Missed opportunity.
Knowing how doctors just like to operate to make money why didn’t he get a second opinion? Did he research the cost effectiveness of treating this cancer at his age? Prostate cancer is slow growing and even if untreated he would probably not loose that much longevity at his current age, plus it would save so much money for the system. I wonder if he had his end of life counseling session before he decided to have this treatment? Hypocrites!
After all, Michael Moore claims they are better at health care then the USA.
Did he mention how HIS treatment will be paid for? And why the rest of us should settle for less than he has and less than we have now?
As Rush Said today Is Dodd going to Cuba or Canada for their Superior care Or his he staynig Here for his care,and Is He getting a second opinion because according to Obama his doctor May just be trying to cash In on his Operation
Too bad he isn’t enrolled in Obamacare, he’d have to wait 3 years for treatment. There isn’t a place in hell hot enough for this fraud.
