No, I think the man was born in Hawaii as he claims and is the legitimately elected President of the United States.

If that is so, then why hasn't any bona fide documentation of that fact yet surfaced; i. e., a long form Hawaii birth certificate, similar to the ones the mother of the Nordyke twins (born the day after Obama was supposed to have been born and childhood friends of Obama) displayed for the Honolulu Advertiser earlier this week?

I think the long form certificate probably exists (as Hawaii state officials have said). Obama can request a copy and make it available to the public, but probably won't. I think he and Democratic Party strategists believe this issue works in their favor among moderates by undermining the credibility of conservatives.

In his short time in office, Obama has already squandered nearly $1 trillion in a so-called "stimulus" that has mostly benefited Democratic special interests while unemployment continues to soar. He's effectively turned GM over to his union supporters while burning legitimate GM creditors. His plan for health-care reform could decimate the US economy, reduce the quality of our health-care, and stifle innovation in the health care field. His energy policy, featuring the cap-and-trade insanity, is a further crippling tax on US businesses and, ultimately, consumers. There are too many things wrong with this presidency to easily list. The birth certificate thing is just an easy way for Obama to avoid the real issues and portray his critics as conspiracy theorists.
