Here’s a simple question, and please be honest: *IF* Barack Obama was a Republican and most especially *IF* he was a conservative; would your stance be exactly identical or would you insist that there is no *practical* difference since common usage doesn’t recognize a distinction between a regular citizen who was born within the territory of the United States and that of a natural born citizen, whose parents are also both Americans?

Who then will be screaming about an illegitimate president? Wouldn’t it be the MSM, liberals, unions, and Democrats while conservatives will be defending his legitimacy?

This shows this entire birther issue is merely political grandstanding since the ideological views of Obama is the PRIMARY reason for the stances of the critics.

Well, Edward, the difference between the conservatives and libs is that conservatives are perfectly willing to ditch their own when they go off the reservation. I hammered Bush on the jailing of the border agents and his collaboration with the dimwits on amnesty. I would have been perfectly willing to do the same on the birth issue if there was one. A perfect example of the Dimwits is the dropping of charges against the thugs at the Philadelphia polling place. The Demoncrats use their offices to further their party not the truth since truth to them is whatever gives their players more power.

I am an equal opportunity constitutionalist. I want both dens of criminals (Republicans and Democrats) to yeild to the constitution. I want all people in power to yield to the constitution. I have felt for a long time that we have permited the three branches to travel so far from the constitution that it may not even exist anymore. I want it back.

I was totally let down by Republicans when they did not axe the Left’s unconstitutional departments in the Executive Branch when they unseated Democrats.

And, it is also true that I despise socialism and liberal racism.
