We don’t know if he was born in Hawaii or not. We have not seen his actual long form birth certificate. If he was not, according to the laws on the books in 1961 his alleged mother could not transmit citizenship to him, and therefore he could not possibly be natural born.
But, again, even if he was born in Hawaii, he had Indonesian citizenship as a child, which matters if he willingly laid claim to that citizenship as an adult.
Hence, the need to see, once and for all, if he attended college as a foreign student, or if he traveled as an adult on a foreign passport.
If he did those things, he by his own choice ratified the decisions his parents made when he was a child and gave up his American citizenship. Which means he also cannot be President. Last time I checked, only citizens, natural born citizens, can be President of the United States.
Why are these simple facts so hard for you to acknowledge?
“We dont know if he was born in Hawaii or not.”
Well, we do. You are just pretending ignorance on it in an attempt to get documentation.
” We have not seen his actual long form birth certificate. “
For purposes of proving birthplace, not necessary. The proof is provided by having verified documentation from the State of Hawaii records and a state official vouching for it.
Maybe you can demand her sign an affadavit or testify in court, but I’m sure not court would *require* more than that to prove to a courts satisfaction that Obama was born in Hawaii.
“If he was not, according to the laws on the books in 1961 his alleged mother could not transmit citizenship to him, and therefore he could not possibly be natural born.”
False. the laws only pertain to birth overseas and he was born in Hawaii; see above.
Since natural-born citizenship can only be affirmatively renounced (see Perkins v Elg) the college records are not relevent.
