I will tell you this much... Hawaii has got a freakin SERIOUS problem.
Based on the fact that Polarik has accused me of posting up a fake, along with MHGinTH, which I have most certainly not done(The assertion that I am capable of creating a forgery, or would even NEED to is insanity itself!), leads me to one conclusion, Hawaii has little control over the certificates it has produced over time, and this calls into question not only my COLB as is displayed by Polarik, but also the COLB of anyone who has ever gotten one.
I have the state sending me a receipt for mine, which is something I didn’t get when my mom sent me this in 2000.
But something tells me that MHGinTN is still going to be going off on his who defend polarik spheel, and polarik himself will again stay silent knowing that he has either made a mistake, or just run up against the simple fact that there is no one standard for a Hawaii COLB. There are differing versions for different order types, with differing versions over differing years... differing verbage on the form...
How many MORE inconsistencies are there going to be?
Who knows!
Does the State of Hawaii even KNOW how many versions of their COLB there have been?
I an beginning to wonder about that for real!
If I were in your shoes, I would also be both confused and very angry. The fact that you have a date stamp of (IIRC) 2007 on a document that was supposedly sent to you several years before...is almost beyond comprehension.
However, maybe it’s worth the hurt if you can help to get to the bottom of this incredible situation. Your pain may be a part of the key that helps us to unlock what’s going on in Hawaii.
It seems to me most likely that for COLBs, the state agency used blank safety paper with all information laser-printed onto the form. There likely would have been a basic software template or templates for the form itself, with algorithms used for the information within each field drawn from the underlying database.
I would expect there to be slight differences in appearance depending on which laserprinter was used, even using the same software.
The question I am left with is, on what basis does the template spit out “accepted” versus “filed?” Something is triggering that difference. It may be a change in usage at different times, or it may be that the fields are adjusted based on the type of information available in the database for a particular COLB.
The first was that you are mistaken as to the actual year you received the CoLB since 11/01 comes more than a year after you remeber having received the exhibit you posted.
The second possibility was that someone in Hawaii is mistaken as to when the forms could have been begun being circulated with the 11/01 revision dating.
But you want to pursue this foolishness some more, trying desperately to discredit Ron Polarik. Polarik's exhibits are far more believeable than you and the more you expose yourself the less credible you become.
