With Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (RINO-TX) retiring early, the special election to replace her is on. The optimal choice for conservatives is clear: Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Michael Williams. He's 100% conservative, a brilliant speaker and exponent of conservative principles, a statewide elective officeholder, and the candidate that liberals and Democrats would least like to see in the U.S. Senate. Check out Chairman Williams's campaign website and judge for yourselves, and, mark my words, you'll discover that he's the real deal.

Yup, I agree. But will Perry do the right thing and appoint Chairman Williams ?

Michael Williams would be an excellent choice. I’m also intrigued by his fellow Railroad Commissioner Elizabeth Jones, though I don’t know a lot about her.

Do you see Williams beating the Democrat John Sharp?
