Someone should send it to Ann Coulter.

Waste of time.Ann is a smart girl. She has what *she* believes to be good reasons for her statements regarding the birth of Hussein. I doubt that she really believes what she is saying. Most of the figures on the right that are calling doubters "fringe" and "kook" have their own agenda(s). Learning the truth about Hussein is not it.

Personally, I think a number of the prominent figures on the right that are speaking out on BO's behalf are more concerned with the potential catastrophic effects should there be widely accepted skepticism about his eligibility. While I'm sure some consider the matter settled, others have doubts but are afraid of the consequences.

IOW, better an ineligible President than a civil war. Let's just not turn over this rock.

“better an ineligible President than a civil war”

I am afraid that we are going to experience both.

Maybe. Or Ann, as well as the likes of James Taranto, realize that the koolaid masses won't be dissuaded. After all, who you gonna believe? The One, or yer own lying eyes?

Then again, I think Ann thought it over (we'll have to ask her), and Taranto is just being an O'Reilly.

If we have a civil war, so be it. I'm not going to roll over and watch this country be destroyed.

...”better an ineligible President than a civil war. Let’s just not turn over this rock. “

Sounds a bit cowardly to me.

That is most definitely the case. Mike Castle being a perfect example, stammering about being a "citizen" when that is not the question, which he would clearly realize as an attorney.

The defense is clearly in to protect something hidden. In a very real way it is defining those who reactively want to insulate the government, and those who would expose it.

I've lived through thirteen Presidents, some assassinated, some resigned, some impeached, some died in office, some just faded away, but the essential thing is the integrity, productivity, and trust of the citizenship, not survival of lying face-saving politicians, which of course is what we mainly have.

Why the paranoia? Expose the details of Barack Obama, the catharsis is overdue.

Better civil war than a Nation with out laws. Otherwise Anarchy reigns supreme. There are no options left. Obama has to resign Immediately.

That is how I see it. These 'conservatives' on the right are avoiding this because it maybe nearly imposable to prove.

It is a lot like Clinton impeachment were Clinton did everything he could to stop any and all investigations against him. in the end the conservatives got hurt.

Unfortunately I agree with you.

Then they, along with members of Congress, SCOTUS, the judiciary & the military upper brass, who have sworn to defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies, both foreign & domestic, are absolute despicable vermin & scum for their cowardice in failing to confront this constitutional issue head on. No wonder our country is in such a mess. I hope these cowardly bastards rot in hell for their pitiful cowardice. If this were a conservative Republican hiding behind such a mask of enforced suppression of the truth, we would already have long been engaged in massive civil uprisings by the left & egged on by the media & leftist politicians. What a bunch of hypocritical cowards we now have.

others have doubts but are afraid of the consequences.

or

others have doubts and know that the consequences of wrecking the house to get rid of the cockroach are worse than applying RAID until we can teach the majority of America to vote him out peacefully.

In December ‘08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator

Even if this had been available on January 20, the fact remains that 60+ million Americans not only don't care what the Constitution says, they would have happily ignored it and voted for him out of spite. If we can't get enough voters who even support the Constitution, then it explains why conservatives now need to have Tea Parties.

Tea Parties may be an early symptom of a banana republic, not a solution.

I have another interpretation of why Anne went AWOL on this issue. Nothing so drastic like civil war. If she goes against the Obama and the MSM she will be rejected from the media. They’ve threatened her to ban her before. So she can’t rock the powers too much. The media sees her conservatism as a shtick and that she doesn’t believe in. This is now true. She has to sell books to keep her career afloat and to do that she needs the MSM. They have her by the short and curlies.
