I think it does. Suppose someone had found 700 votes for Gore in FL in 2003. Then what ? Once the Electoral college votes, it is over.

Did he show them? Seeing them would settle the question of microfiche duplicity. Of course, the announcements do not prove his birth location, but it would be good to know if they were really in the newspapers or not.
