The House of Representatives has just passed a bill recognizing the 50th anniversary of Hawaii's statehood and noting the state as President Obama's birthplace.

Don't knock it. Some of the best fiction has been written by the current House. To wit, Porkulus, Crap-n-Charade, and coming soon, DeathCare.

******

I feel that the Representatives "acted stupidly" by signing the bill without first demanding proof that Obama was even born in the United States.

I think that the Representatives who signed such a bill will regret it later.

For instance, during the 2010 Representative campaigns, I see voters confronting Representatives by asking them how they could possibly in good conscience sign such a bill without first demanding proof that Obama was born in the United States.
