I believe that anyone who is not a natural born citizen is not eligible for the presidency.
In Obama’s case, an original birth certificate will prove that he is. All they have to do is show it.
So, I care about the constitution, and that’s why I care that he show an original birth certificate.
But “natural born” is very vaguely defined.
The fact that he was born to a US Citizen mother and was never subsequently naturalized (as an immigrant has to be), would probably suffice to fit the definition if it were ever seriously contested.
I too would like to see his BC, because there is doubtless something of great interest there, of a rather different significance.
Well, yes, unless it differs materially from the one previously released by the Obama campaign. If it says the birth was unattended in a mango grove and the father is "unknown" we're gonna be back at the starting line.
It'll depend on what Grandma Whitey put on the CnOLB application.
