Pres. Barack Obama has a birthday coming up, a week from Tuesday. We hope he takes the day off—or even the whole week, the briefest of respites from his busy schedule of truncating our liberties while exhausting both the public coffers and our patience. The president’s birthday comes to mind because we recently spent some time looking at a photograph of his birth certificate, being held by Joe Miller of Factcheck.org, who took the time to examine it. President Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at 7:24 p.m, in Honolulu County, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. The serial number on his birth certificate is 010641. Baby Barack’s birth was not heralded, as some of his partisans have suggested, by a star in the east, but it was heralded by the Honolulu Star, as well as the Honolulu Advertiser, each of which published birth announcements for young Mr. Obama.
The sort of birth certificate thingy they released is not a slam dunk. That is true. But there are Barry O’s birth announcements in 2 Hawaii papers from when he was born. Do the birthers have some accounting for how those were supposedly faked?
Listen: Obama is pro-abortion, a race baiter, an appointer of terrible judges, a corrupt spender of our money (see “stimulus”), and on and on.
Why destroy the credibility of the conservative movement by wrongly insisting that he wasn’t born in Hawaii?
Why not focus instead on stopping Obama Care, which, if it passes, is likely to be a disaster of enormous proportions?
For the record - Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama’s U.S. citizen mother, in order to convey citizenship on Obama would have had to have been a resident of the United States for 10 years, at least five of which were over the age of 14. Dunham did not meet that requirement (of the Nationality Act of 1940, revised June 1952) until her 19th birthday in late November of 1961, almost four months after Obama was born.
Either way - I think he was born in Hawaii; I’m more concerned with his attempt to conceal all other records. Specifically school and college records.
The thing with you Birthers is that NOTHING in the MOUNTAIN of articles and comments refuting your position is good enough for you--it's always "Coulter is part of it" and "The Republicans don't bring this up because they are in on it".
You've focused on Obama handing you his birth certificate, but all he's going to hand you is what's already out there...and that's not enough for you.
It's the perfect conspiracy fantasy because NOTHING can satisfy you, because you guys are all about emotion. No facts can alter that FEELING you have.
