Have you seen one of the “Smart” cars on your streets yet?

the drivers of these rolling tort claims are insane to take them out in the traffic around here, but we have several. If one of our local Asian women who is driving a minivan full of kids while talking on the phone runs a stop sign and t-bones one of these little wonders, it’ll reduce the occupants to hermetically sealed bug food.

The odds of surviving a crash in one are somewhere between zilch point $hit and zero...

That’s the idea, he is trying to get all large vehicles off the road. Heck, in 10 years we may be back to horse and buggy.

A smart Car is so small, it wouldn’t be t-boned, it would be i-boned.

I’ve actually seen Smart Cars on the autobahn here in Germany...with Beemers, Audis and Mercedes blasting past them. Not to mention the truckers from Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Talk about wanting to commit suicide.

I saw one in Blue Ridge GA a couple of days ago of all places. A big old GMC pulled up next to it and it almost looked like one of its tires was bigger than the little death trap. I can’t imagine it would have much of an advantage in a fight with a skateboarder.

Maybe for buzzing around small neighborhoods, university transportation, trips to the store (if you can carry anything in it), etc.; otherwise I can’t imagine being safe at all in one of them.

They're all over the German Autobahn amidst the Mercedes's and other fast European cars. They go like hell too! We overtook one in my son's Honda and the driver made it a point of honor to blast around us and get far, far ahead: a brave (or foolish) driver.
