I heard on the radio recently that there is a car crushing company in a Chicago suburb that expects to gain a LOT of business from this deal. Hence the car destruction part of the plan. ozero is taking care of his buds.

Unless the govt is going to underwrite the freight cost to send them to Chitown, the scrap metal value doesn’t merit the transportation cost of sending them out of state.

Not to mention scrap metal prices will drop hurting independent junkyards and recyclers.
