You said — Time to focus on B.O. in the White House not on this stupid conspiracy.

Now I’m curious and I’m wondering how long it will take, since this official announcement from the State of Hawaii that Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen, to “fizzle down” on these threads.
Sometimes people don’t like the “reality” that sets in and they resist for a while. I wonder how long....
I give it another week of run time and then only the cranks here and a few other sites will keep this silly nonsense going. There is no there there.
He’s an American citizen unless someone proves otherwise. He’s proven all he needs to prove...he has the job.
Actually ST, for this to be an official statement it should have come from government channels put out on official letterhead like the Fukino letter that you have been posting lately.
Tomorrow her phone should be ringing off the hook to confirm this story.
The issue may "fizzle down" a bit in the LSM, but I doubt it will here on FR.
FWIW, Up until this point I have been a skeptic and have argued vigorously against the birthers. However, something about this recent statement coming so late after prior statements and something about a representative determining what "natural born citizen" means and applying it to the facts doesn't sit right with me.
Maybe its because my experience with government officials is they loathe to interpret data. Maybe its because they are stating something today that they claimed they could not state yesterday. Maybe its because Obama could easily release this and its done with but instead we have state officials interpreting the constitution.
No, Traveler, this recent statement has increased my interest and makes it more likely there is something there.
