The long-awaited 911 tape and audio of the controversial July 16 arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. are being made public for the first time today, Cambridge officals just announced.
The tapes will speak for themselves, said Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas.
Hass said the tapes will create some confusion, but only with police codes youll hear but the remainder of the tapes are crystal clear.
Its in plain language in most part and you can draw your own conclusions, Haas.
In the 911 tapes, Lucia Whalen can be heard spelling out the name of the street and saying that another woman approached her about seeing two men trying to enter the Ware Street home.

" To his eventual embarrassment, he wrote in his Yale application:
"As always, whitey now sits in judgment of me, preparing to cast my fate. It is your decision either to let me blow with the wind as a nonentity or to encourage the development of self. Allow me to prove myself."
He was substantial enough to get into Yale anyway, politicized enough to protest racism and the Vietnam War, but never so disheartened by his country that he didn't consider himself a part of it. "
Click under the picture of Gates. It isn’t loud but you can hear him.
It's hard work being a race-baiting black nationalist.
Did you hear the reason he went to China to begin with? To research Yo-Yo Ma's genealogy!
excellent
Now, president mack daddy- ‘splain that behavior by your good buddy, nutty professor gates
The audio at that site doesn’t work for me. Other comments on this thread reveal that there are others who can’t access it either. What is it? Is it part of the 911 call? Can it be accessed somewhere else, in a format that doesn’t require some super secret program?
I suspect the possible Hispanic was the driver, because Whalen describes him as large. Gates isn't that big a guy.
I’d like to know what that communist was doing in China?
Yes, but as an emergency operator he’s used to handling emergencies. Here he is with a possible B&E and some ditz on the other end of the phone is muttering and unable to answer simple questions.
I'm sure THOSE tapes have had an acid bath in Rahm's office by now...
The nice woman who called 911 bent over backwards to NOT identify the two men as black. The 911 operator, who sounds black, was an ass. He was bristling with accusation, challenging the poor caller who just wanted to do a neighborly thing! Were I the caller , I’d dress that jerk down and say JUST SEND COPS, YOU FOOL.
I’m amazed that this woman stuck around to speak to police.
Jeez, political correctness with be the death of us all some day.
If only the media reported the truth way back when.

0bama has poor judgment. His judgement on racial issues is clouded by a racial bias.
This is something we need to begin pointing out frequently.
Wrong house—it’s the yellow one farther down the street.
The following is a transcript of the 911 made about the break-in at Gates’ home:
DISPATCH: Whats the exact location of your emergency?
911 CALLER: Im calling from Ware Street in Cambridge. The house number is 17.
DISPATCH: Whats the address again?
911 CALLER: Sorry, its 7 Ware thats W-A-R-E Street.
DISPATCH: The residency is 7 Ware Street, right?
911 CALLER: No, its 17. Im sorry. Theres a woman whos talking next to me but its 17. 1-7 Ware Street.
DISPATCH: Whats the phone number youre calling me from?
911 CALLER: Im calling you from my cell phone number.
DISPATCH: Tell me exactly what happened.
911 CALLER: I dont know whats happening I just had an older woman standing here and she had noticed two gentlemen trying to get in a house at that number 17 Ware Street. And they kind of had to barge in and they broke the screen door and they finally got in. And I went over to have a look and I got closer to the house a little bit after the gentlemen were already in the house. I noticed two suitcases. I dont know if these are the two individuals that actually work there, I mean, who live there.
DISPATCH: You think they might have been breaking in?
911 CALLER: I dont know because... I have no idea.
DISPATCH: You think that possibility might have been that? What do you mean barged in? Did they kick the door in?
911 CALLER: No, they were pushing the door in like um like the screen part of the front door
DISPATCH: (indiscernible)
911 CALLER: I didnt see the key or anything I was a little bit away from the door but I did notice that they
DISPATCH: What do the suitcases have to do with anything?
911 CALLER: I dont know, Im just saying thats what I saw.
DISPATCH: Is it an apartment they broke into?
911 CALLER: No, just the first floor. I dont even think its an apartment. Its 17 Ware Street. Its a house. Its a yellow house. Number 17. I dont know if they live there and just had a hard time with their key. I noticed that they kind of used their shoulder to try to barge in and they got in. I dont know if they had a key or not because I couldnt see from my angle. But, you know, when I looked a little closely thats what I
DISPATCH: Are they Hispanic? Are they still in the house?
911 CALLER: Theyre still in the house I believe, yeah.
DISPATCH: Are they white, black or Hispanic?
911 CALLER: Um, well, they were two larger men. One looked kind of Hispanic but Im not really sure. And they other one entered and I didnt see what he looked like at all. I just saw it from a distance and this older woman was worried thinking someones breaking in someones house and barging in and I she interrupted me and thats when I had noticed, otherwise I probably wouldnt have noticed it at all, to be honest with you. So I was just calling because she was a concerned neighbor, I guess.
DISPATCH: Okay. Are you standing outside?
911 CALLER: Im standing outside, yeah.
DISPATCH: Police are on their way. You can meet them when you get there. Whats your name?
911 CALLER: Yeah, my name is (says name).
DISPATCH: Alright theyre on their way.
911 CALLER: Alright, I guess Ill wait. Thanks.
more to come....
Dangerously poor judgment. This is a man who bases his decisions on hearsay and reacts according to his racial prejudices.
Imagine if this had been that dreaded 3 a.m. call in the night to the POTUS, calling on him to decide what to do after a nuclear strike to one of our major cities!!!
We have GOT to get him out of the White House permanently.
Any great white sharks in the waters around Martha’s Vineyard this sumer?
(OOOOH! WHITE shark...that’s racist.)
I thought the same thing. NO ONE CARES anymore. If you do you are called a racist or a right wing nut.
He also sounded white, so no issue there.
He did sound somewhat harried and impatient, like he is used to sorting through a lot of bogus calls.
