The woman at the Delaware meeting was a reminder why prior generations did not believe women's suffrage was a good idea.
At least three sharp, successful business/professional women of my acquaintance have stated, independently at various times over the last eight months, that they'd gladly give up the franchise if it meant that all the rest of the country's women were compelled to do likewise.
