"there is nothing to teach from it."

I am inclined to believe there is nothing to be gained by it but shouldn't we at the very least change the way politicians run for office such as properly checking the credentials from now on?

Agreed.

The other point is the Dems were already running hearings against McCain since he was born in Panama. They would have gone crazy on this issue as well so they are being hypocritical. I saw Matthews on youtube interviewing Cong. Campbell who lightly touched on this point - he should have attacked Matthews hard on the double standard.

Frankly, I think Barack is hiding too much history - and that is a real issue. This should be framed in the secrecy of his past because there are things he is hiding about his record. There seems to be a potential for bad info on his family which he is also hiding. Where’s all this ‘transparency’?
