You mean the complaint from Keith Olbermann about the comments Scheur made on Beck’s show?
AYK?? No, I would never watch that commie. But I saw the Scheuer interview. I realize I am going against the grain here. I’ve read freerepublic for years and I’ve watched Glenn Beck since his shows began. No — what bothers me is that we do not seem to self-criticize very well. I’ve watched a number of posters here with thoughtful crits be banned. I’m very uncomfortable with the current status of the Republican party. It’s fun to read this blog, but it would be even better to get a fifth vote on SCOTUS to ban baby killing. To do that, I think we need to broaden our appeal, and when Scheuer suggests the only thing that would save the country would be for a lot of Americans to be murdered, I disagree and would like to see Republicans rise up and say this is insanity. Instead, becaue it was on Glenn’s show, people make a bunch of sarcastic comments but basically let it pass. I decided to post here because I’d like to understand how this can be acceptable to Conservative patriotic Americans, except as some kind of sick joke, but Scheuer was serious. It bothers me. Why can’t we weed out nuts like this — and why do we all have to agree with eachother or else get kicked out? But mostly, why didn’t Beck tell the guy it was treasonous?
