Let's expand the unholy alliance of gun owners and privacy advocates opposing Obamacare to include every military family member and all others who have played by the rules by buying insurance all their lives. It's not too late to take action - contact your Congressional delegation now to oppose Obamacare before it sinks America in debt and bureaucracy.

I’ve been wondering what happens to a retired vet who has health care provided through Tricare or whatever and who also works for a company that offers medical insurance but declines it.

Good find, thanks. My Dad is retired and on TriCare, he seems to think that ObamaCare won’t interfere with his military health insurance. If you find anything else out on this, please give me ping, so I can send it to my Dad. Thanks—GGG

..typically socialist liberal tactics. The military hating elitist, know no bounds.
*****IMPORTANT****..for those vets of my era.(1965-1978 or so)..on Jan 16,2003 per VHA Directive 2003-003 ..a slew of my fellow VETS were denied eligibility to receive medical services because of income levels. (myself included *smiles*..even though I've been retired for 5 years, so you know the thresholds were low.) UPDATE: As of June 15 2009, last month, they have once again opened enrollment. It may have cause problems for you or someone you know....PLEASE pass on this information, the VA has no obligation to notify anyone
