I was actually thinking about this today. What would doctors charge if they knew they were absolutely free from all liability? Perhaps it would have no effect on doctors who still had malpractice insurance. The real kicker would be when other doctors who only saw no-malpractice patients come up. In that case, I would guess doctors with malpractice insurance would quickly be run out of business.

It would save Hundreds of Billions of dollars because Doctors are Forced to run Tests just to protect themselves, to be extremely cautiuos in all of their treatments, and to be terrified of every meeting they have with a patient. Today, every patient visit, every procedure, every move is subject to a Lawyer finding another 33% of potetial Million Dollar settlements. Doctors just wont practice Obstetrics anymore because of this and the Malpractice Insurance and more importantly the destruction of their Reputations and Entire Lives!
