WOW. So all those years in college and med school were wasted because I clearly only make decisions based on how much I get paid...
I have never been so offended. Now I am 100% convinced that Obama has NO IDEA how the system works because the expensive treatments are the last to ever be approved whether or not they are the most appropriate for the patient. He just contradicted his entire hour of arguments about health insurance, drug costs, etc... Clearly its just us docs being greedy.
I hope the AMA is happy.
Obama just told the country he thinks doctors do unecessary operations on children for some extra money.
I don’t know why they even need doctors any more. They have their computer program telling them how to treat. The doctor is superfluous at best or corrupt.
Especially the primary care docs who make nothing off the expensive treatments/surgeries they refer their patients to. Although his example tonight makes the implication that the doc diagnosing a sore throat ends up making money off the surgery. What a crock.
He has never run a business, met a payroll, had to cover overhead or make a budget in his entire life! BTW, I didn’t hear anything tonight about tort reform and the cost of lawsuits on malpractice insurance.
