Savage is an entertaining nut case who occasionally is the only radio personality in the country telling the truth as it should be told. He’s about right on the money once a month or once a quarter, but the rest of the time his show is good for shock entertainment.

In the words of Kim Jung Il: OH REARRRRY?

Savage is all those things but Ed Schultz is not? And if he is, doubt we're going to see any articles in the chronicle talk about Schultz' obvious insanity or, at the very best, unhealthy mental imbalance.

Savage is hated and vilified because he tells the truth about pharmaceutical drugs, especially those used to treat mental illness.

The drug industry has them squarely in their sites and they do everything they can to take him down.

They have also targeted the church of scientology, which is one of the most effective educational institutions sharing the facts on psychiatric medications.

I don’t listen to him often, but he is one of the few media outlets who has been willing to have Peter Breggin on his show.

BigVinny is a semi-regular on Savage’s show.

Savage cracks me up. But I wouldn’t want to be caught listening to him.

Pushing a persona is MUCH more profitable than nutritional supplements.

I don’t hate Savage, I just hate listening to him.

What makes everyone so antsy about Michael Savage?

I think it's his stories about how to make meatballs.

First off, Paragraphs make reading easier on the eyes.

I can't listen to him too often because his voice just irritates, like chalk on a blackboard.

He’s one of the most irritating people on the radio. No such thing as a dialogue with callers. Blasts callers who even agree with him. In fact, his show might be better if he just didn’t take calls.

What makes everyone so antsy about Michael Savage?

Maybe because he tells people to fry stuff in olive oil? ; )

He’s no Jim Eason but he hits the spot, considering the market he started in.

I never missed a minute of his shows when they were local (KSFO). I started listening shortly after he went on the air at KSFO.

There was no name-calling of conservative competitors though he did keep his distance from fellow local hosts at KSFO. He was brand new to being part of the media world. I always figured he kept his distance mainly because of the hostility of sister station KGO's liberal hosts.

I still tune in everyday but turn the dial to Mark Levin rather listen to recordings (all three hours or just the daily third hour).

I am an expert radio listener! 24/7 for years and years starting in the 1940s.

Though I interrupted my training because I had to work, then I resumed my training a few years ago.

I will say this about Savage and Mark Levin:

I like 'em both but..

Complaining everyday that others steal their intellectual property IS BORING!

BESIDES BOTH MEN STOLE JOE PYNE'S ACT!

So there! but keep up the good work, patriots!

Although I'm only a marginal listener of Savage, I do concede that he provides a useful niche in talk radio.

I like him because libtards hate him. That’s enough reason right there.

Throw in good ideas and a willingness to address current events in a blunt way and you have a winner. I remember saying we should leaflet Falluja, givw them 48 hours or so then carpet bomb the city. Gotta love that. Ted Nugent would like it too.

One point against him is his wont to react negatively to callers that are agreeing with him.
