Au contraire. GOA did a fine job of stabbing Fred Thompson in the back during the primaries - and they did it all on their own. Maybe it didn't matter much in the grand scheme of things, but GOA's nonsensical claims that Fred voted "for gun control" ended up being used by Huckabee.

I'm trying to figure out why you put me in this to list where you defend the NRA. I agree with you and have defended the NRA many times on this board from GOA do nothing lovers.

Where did I criticize the NRA? That’s right, I didn’t. I’m actually a member and plan to renew. I simply suggested an alternative for those who have a problem with the NRA. I’d rather people be involved in some pro-2A organization than none. Get a grip.
