The government always attaches strings and becomes a puppet master of sorts. The Constitution also has a rather broad, “General Welfare” clause which is where I suppose much of the “authority” comes from for the huge Government that we have.

Someone with BDS would have the EXACT same response as you did. They would also post comments like the one that caused me to reply to you. Arguing with you would be like arguing with someone afflicted by BDS: a waste of time.

So if the President seek to make government the puppet master when I have a discussion with my doctor that's not an impeachable offense? I'm not saying we waste time trying to impeach him, I'm just saying that you reacted to impeaching him over nationalized, unconstitutional health care as if someone had said we should impeach him for wearing the wrong color tie, and I find that odd.

Are mandatory end-of-life counseling and the elimination of private insurance even arguably essential to the "general welfare" of this nation?
