To: Jim Robinson

Let us deal with these comments one-by-one, shall we?

“The unlawful federal government’s takeover of the financial, banking and insurance industries”

As yet, the actions of the federal government have not been adjudicated as unlawful. If you wish for them to be considered unlawful, use the legal mechanisms in place to have them declared so. There’s nothing stopping anyone from initiating a suit. If the actions taken by the federal government are a) unConstitutional or b) outside of the scope of the federal government’s power, then any attorney will be happy to advise you on how and assist in appropriate litigation.

“Rebellion is brewing!”

Ah yes. The Congress voting on this bill, it being put into action, and subsequent litigation proving that the bill fits Constitutionality will incite rebellion.

Why would something incite rebellion if it is done in a legal fashion?

Or is it simply that the viewpoint expressed here does not have enough support amongst the populace that elected these Representatives and Senators and so rebellion is the only way to force people the viewpoint of Jim Robinson & Co.?

Let’s not forget that rebellion has been deemed UnConstitutional since the inauguration of the government by it in 1789 and its dealing of rebels in the Whiskey Rebellion of 1791...a decision made by our Founding Fathers Washington and Hamilton. Fancy that!

Ah, yes, the DOI, the ruling law of the land.
Oh, wait.
No, the Constitution is the ruling law of the land. And this passage is nowhere in it.
Never mind, we shall overthrow the Constitution and its Amendments and resinstitute the Articles Of Confederacy. Then I will be able to use the National Guard of GA to invade and exterminate those heathens in Florida in the first of a series of glorious conquests.

And you will be waiting a long time yet. We have created a nation that operates under rule of law, as per the Constitution. The USC does not guarantee life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; no, it instead guarantees life, liberty and property - happiness be damned.

You have a choice. Obey the USC and the statutes and caselaw deemed legal by its judicial and legal experts or deny the USC and rebel against everything it has ever produced. No more slavery - that’s down the tubes. Freedom of speech - that’s in the USC and must go too, if you rebel.

I’m sure the Libertarian Overlord Utopia will be a much happier place. Just think - you can order Obama to obey your philosophies or submit to torture in the gulag, just as those revolutionary Bolsheviks did with the Russian nobility. Fantastic.
