Rose Bird was a bad one. At least she didn’t live to be appointed to the USSC by Obama.
Been doing that more and more..I haven’t listened to network national news in ages..
May I call you Walter?
...Walt.
“Everybody Knows” Most Journalists are Liberal
“Everybody knows that there’s a liberal, that there’s a heavy liberal persuasion among correspondents.....Anybody who has to live with the people, who covers police stations, covers county courts, brought up that way, has to have a degree of humanity that people who do not have that exposure don’t have, and some people interpret that to be liberal. It’s not a liberal, it’s humanitarian and that’s a vastly different thing.”
-Walter Cronkite March 21, 1996
All things being equal, I’d take Ted Baxter of WJM.
FWIW : Our “Morale” was just fine,,,
WALTER CRONKITE killed the morale of America,,,
When I came home in ‘68 everybody was saying that
“WALTER CRONKITE said we lost”,,,
“We saw it on TV”!!!
WALTER LIED AND G.I.’s Died!!!...
LMAO!!! That is hysterical!
And guess what?? Primetime presidential news conference at the White House, Wed. 7/22 @ 9PM EDT.
I’m surprised he isn’t doing it the night before to interrupt Hell’s Kitchen.
He’s a sleeper troll working from a script, most likely a paid operative. Notice the repeated references to the statists’ all-time favorite general, Eric Shinseki, in his one-page, three-year posting history. Normal people don’t drop Shinseki’s name, they don’t even know who he is... leftist operatives do (or at least, they did when it was useful, many moons ago).
If you want something to smile about, notice that he only returned from the dead after a year to start attacking Palin — again, with provided talking points that can be found on every leftist website. Even his tagline (”iquitarod”) is a Keith Olbermann creation. You can smell the fear all over these rats. It’s a beautiful thing.
Is that where the term sh*t detail came from?
~~~
That’s how I understand it,,,
Been there,done dat...
Liberals can’t seem to make up their minds about Afghanistan.
When we first went in in 2001, it was a bad war. Baaaad! Baa! Baa! We were told how the Taliban were invincible, how it was hopeless, how the U.S. military was doomed. Then we crushed the Taliban in weeks. Liberal EPIC FAIL.
Then, when the Iraq war started, Afghanistan became the good war. Iraq’s a quagmire! Why aren’t we focusing on Afghanistan? Where’s bin Laden? Us liberal armchair generals could do things so much better!
Then, after the surge in Iraq squashed the insurgency, Afghanistan became the bad war again. Baaad! Baa! Baa! The Resurgent Taliban (TM) with their Mighty Mega Super Powers (TM) will crush us all! Baa!
Then, when Obama became president, Afghanistan became the good war again. It’s not a quagmire anymore! Obama, the All-Knowing, will lead us to glory and victory!
Until, of course, Obama decides to pull out before the job is done, instantly making Afghanistan the bad war again. Baaad! Ba-
You get the idea.
To paraphrase Mark Twain: “I will not attend the funeral, but I will send a nice letter saying that I approve of it.”
Hero of and fellow traveller with commies, socialists, liberals and other lower forms of social plant life...not my “hero.”
Oh yeah. big time.
The Michael Jackson of TV News dead. Moonwalking, pop culture, fluff and all that!
Im surprised he isnt doing it the night before to interrupt Hells Kitchen.
Me too. Maybe FOX told Obama they wouldn't bother carrying him. The ratings for his ABC shamwow thing a couple weeks ago weren't very good.
Walter Cronkite worked very hard to get to the “top” of his profession.
But he was as biased as the worst of them and Cronkite helped set the stage for death and suffering when the Communists took over South East Asia.
As an ex-television news person myself, it takes a lot of people to do TV news, especially at network level.
Cronkite read what he wrote and what others wrote for him, did what the producers wanted him to do, etc.
He was the leading face of the liberally biased CBS television news machine created back in the 1950’s.
