I would believe so, yes. And walk into office a crippled lame duck. How powerful Pelosi and Reid would be in the aftermath is the wild card.
There's no doubt in my mind Pelosi would smell the presidency blowing toward her on the winds. But would Congress as a whole be willing to further the political turmoil? It would take impeachment. And that' would mean open court in Congress. To me, that would be politically disastrous for them.
