I just watched the video three times. Albert IS NOT BEHIND HOME PLATE!!! If anything, he is IN FRONT OF IT, and it appears to be directly UNDER HIS BUTT!!

Watch where Albert’s left leg and foot move and end up when he has to lunge for the bounced ball. If he was where a NORMAL CATCHER SHOULD HAVE BEEN, his right leg doesn’t move (like in the video) and his left leg landed the spot that it did, at the MINIMUM, he would’ve ended up on the disabled list for the remainder of the 2009 season.

If Albert was BEHIND the plate, where Molina usually is positioned to catch, it would have been AT LEAST A TWO-BOUNCER!!!
