Back in the olden days (well, less than 10 years ago) I read a lot of USENET news groups. (Remember those?) One particular group I liked to read had its share of characters.
One such character (who sort of polarized the group) had posted plenty of personal information and incriminating remarks across several newsgroups. This individual, over apparently one weekend (a very short period of time, one to three days) erased everything "ugly" that she'd posted about herself. She took the ammunition out of everyone's hands (because they kept dredging up her old posts to point out her inconsistencies).
When I read of BO scrubbing the Web of everything he could, I thought of that USENET "character."
Yes, I remember USENET. This guy clearly doesn’t want anyone knowing who he is or what he is doing. Not his cabinet nor the Congress. Maybe the Congress should start understanding this as they make law.
