Why not? The oath is to the Constitution, not the President, not the Congress, not the USSC... All three branches have been violating the law, Constitutional or otherwise, in recent months. (GM/Chrysler, for one: The exec. branch made criminal threats and extortion against those willing to support the bondholders; the USSC for allowing the Exec. branch to do so AND refusing to hear the case despite Constitutional guarantees about ‘equal protection under law,’ ‘petition the government for redress,’ and ‘right to jury-trial’; and the Congress... well, any Legislative body that passes a bill unread is criminally negligent, incompetent, or full of traitors.)
Big difference between questioning the authenticity of the seated president, which most if not all folks here also question, and his performance as a military officer...........unless of course you have first hand knowledge of such performance.
Which goes to show that those who beleive the military would not shoot on the American public upon orders of a Messiah President are nuts. If they were ordered to track down and kill “terrorist” Christians in the US, they would do it in a heart beat and hate anyone who disobeyed the orders.
There is no constitution respected in the military. They (with very few exceptions) do as ordered - no matter what.
Just curious, since you seem to have first hand knowledge of his predicament in order to cast judgment on the guy, what's his MOS and his exact military function?
