But none of you actually think that Obama will be forced to step down, do you? IF Obama is not a “natural born citizen” at this moment, there is nobody in government with the guts to say it out loud. More to the point, the key issue is a definitional one: “What constitutes a ‘natural born citizen’?”. No matter what happens at the lower rungs of the judicial system, I can guarantee you that the Supreme Court will define “natural born citizen” in such a way that Obama will qualify for the Presidency. I wouldn’t be too surprised if such a decision was a unanimous one, by the way: “In the best interests of the country”.

This is clearly now a judicial oligarchy, not a constitutional republic.

[We] are depending on one tiny branch to respect the Constitution when every other segment of the Republic has ignored it in this case: Electorate, Congress, outgoing POTUS, governors, state legislatures, generals, colonels, ambassadors, past presidents, etc, etc.

Zero is de facto POTUS and the bar to foreign presidents has been dropped.

In fact, I'd not be surprised if at the end of his term, he doesn't force the issue himself as a final insult to say, "aha! you allowed it, so it is now ok."

What’s all this “end of term” stuff you’re talking about? African Presidents are elected “For Life”. Just ask Idi Amin or Robert Mugabe.
