The article said she was making a political statement. I seriously doubt that she was, but nevertheless, it was a news article and it was posted.

I doubt she was either.

But her parents were very aware of the message they were sending through her.

They were using her.

That's the way leftists are.

Use your kids and act shocked when you get called on it and accuse those pointing it out of thrashing kids, and vilify the kids of your opponents for no reason at all.
