First of all, you seem awfully concerned about what a liberal moonbat site like HuffPost thinks about FR. And second, that HuffPost link is more of a bash on the overall media than at FR.
So you might want to re-examine which site is a better fit for you - FR or DU.

This is what I posted on another conservative site:
I’m a reasonably conservative old geezer, but I don’t get carried away with it.
Think of it this way: The eagle is a magnificent bird - in flight : less magnificent when on the ground.
If you clip either of the eagle’s wings (right or left),the bird isn’t going to be able to do much but hop around awkwardly.
Some politicians - right or left - would like nothing better than to clip one of our wings , so we’ll be easier to control.
Maybe some want it to be like that-but that’s not for me.
Two healthy wings, working together can help us soar.
